News: Big Boi Defines Freestyle, "The New Style Is Just Reciting Some Sh*t You Wrote"

From Boi's perspective, the essence of what made a true freestyle has disappeared.

"Let me say one thing about free-styling. There's a new school definition of free-styling and then it's a real definition of free-styling. The definition of free-styling is raps or thoughts off the top of your head, not written down, your homeboy can't say your backgrounds behind you while you say it. It's strictly like for me to just go off the top of my head and even talk about the paper that you got. Or you can talk about the skirt with flowers (kicks a freestyle) See what I mean? You can go off into a tangent if you want to...?Like, the new style free-styling is just reciting some s**t you wrote. No, but that's what the f**k they doin'. Nah'm sayin? You can do that all day long." (All Hip Hop)

Hip-Hop Rumors: Kanye West - FOUR New Songs, Seen In NYC!

Jeez, there are so many layers to this so shout out to William Yan, Ms. Drama, KanyeLive.com, Nah Right, DJ Semtex and a bunch of others.

I was trying to chill and somebody on the AHH staff kicked me out of my slumber...with a damn rumor about Kanye West.

First, this quote is from DJ Semtex:

"It's all about a new Kanye West album. The album is coming in September. Okay, so I've heard the first Kanye West joint. I was sworn to secrecy. I'm not allowed to talk about it. All I can say is it is banging. If that's a taste of what's coming on the album, he has smacked it. Lyrically....he is saying things like, 'Wow, he said that?' It is going to shock everybody, the first record."

William Yan took a pic of Ye when he was in the streets of NYC. I would post the pic, but there's not a lot to that. Here's the word from W.Y. and his experience with Kanye:

"[Kanye] was on his incognito steez yesterday strolling the Soho streets with his buddies Virgil Abloh and Don C. The gang was nice enough to let me flick up Mr. West, before all hell broke loose and people realized who I was shooting."
Here is the pic from William Yan:

KANYE IS ON THE WAY BACK

LAST BUT NOT LEAST!

Rapper Lil Kim has joined Jay-Z's management company, Roc Nation, and Kim's fellow Brooklynite will executive produce the album as well.

A number of sources have reported the news, including gossip blogger Perez Hilton. No formal announcement has been made even though one is expected shortly.

"Although she's seen better days, Lil Kim is ready to make a musical comeback! The rapper officially signed a record deal with Roc Nation. Jay-Z is even expected to produce her next album. Interesting," said Perez Hilton.

£220,000 of pure luxury

Bentley's flagship saloon lives in a rarefied world where rational choices don't factor - owners buy cars simply because they want them. There's no real competition when you can afford all the competition too, so the Bentley appeals on the grounds of its traditional craftsmanship and singular pursuit of luxury. Add to that its easy, huge performance and surprising capability in the bends given its size, and the new Mulsanne turns out to be a hugely appealing and fitting model to continue the line of big, range-topping V8 Bentley saloons.
We don't know what light-skinned girls have been eating lately, but these days they seem to be packing more curves than the Autobahn. Take Veronica Vior, for example. She says thickness is in her blood. That's one family reunion we want to crash.

summer cavi collection 2010

Cavi’s 2010 summer collection is now in stores, available at Macy’s and other retailers and also online
Some of us don’t typically wear timepieces, but we finally found a few great ones that will stay on our wrists instead of in our jewelry boxes. These G-Shock Mini plastic watches are not only super adorable, but rugged enough to withstand some banging around. The summer 2010 collection has pieces in pink, black, and white that could go with anyone’s wardrobes. We love how the model in the lookbook mixes the bright plastic watches with thick bangles and fierce metal jewelry—a styling tip that alleviates some of the stuffiness of our grown-up jewelry for that extra dose of whimsy. via refinery29.com
